Nik Naks Crisps

You may have heard of these from the classic nursery rhyme Nik Nak paddy whack, give the dog a bone, this old man came roaming home. But Nik Naks have a much tastier origin! They were first made in 1972 in South Africa, and Nik Naks corn snacks have definitely been passed from pillar to post making their way through a variety of manufacturers until KP purchased and currently owns these crisps (lucky them). These are an odd snack as they aren’t your garden variety of crisp, with a delicious flavour, crunchy texture and weird wiggly shape.

What Flavours Are There?

Nik Naks corn snacks only come in three flavours, but to be honest, they don’t need any more crisp flavours. This is because KP has hit the nail on the head with; Rib ‘n’ Saucey, Nice ‘n’ Spicy and Scampi ‘n’ Lemon. What kind of snack flavours would you like to see these crisps expand to? The favourite flavour at One Pound Crisps has got to be the Nice ‘N’ Spicy. It’s not too hot it ruins the flavour but it’s just hot enough to be irresistibly moreish.

What Varieties Are There?

Nik Naks do not need different varieties as they are a retro classic snack! One Pound Crisps are glad they didn’t go mental with varieties. They kept their crisp range clean, simple and timeless. However, KP snacks do manufacture a variety of other fun snacks. You Know, in case you did want to be a bit adventurous.
