Jacobs Mini Cheddars

Jacobs began developing biscuits in 1852 in Ireland. Since then the company has separated with the opening of their factory in Liverpool in 1914. The Ireland factory mainly makes biscuits and the Liverpool factory diversified into other snack crisps, some of which One Pound Crisps stock, including the mini cheddars.

Types Of Crisps

Jacobs produces different snacks and crisps such as; toppable Crackers, snackable Crackers, Mini Cheddars, Cracker Crisps, Crinkleys, Twiglets and Cheeselets. Each offering a deliciously different experience for consumers. One pound crisps specifically stock the Mini Cheddars, Twiglets and Crinkley’s in different flavours and available in full cases.

Flavours of Crisps

Jacobs flavours includes; cheese, pickle, cracked black pepper, sour cream and chive, sweet chilli, red Leicester, smokey BBQ, lime and chilli, chipotle chicken wings, jalapeños and nacho cheese, salt and vinegar, cheese and onion and chilli beef. One Pound Crisps stocks 10 varieties. Firstly, 5 Jacobs Mini Cheddars flavours; original, red Leicester,  ploughman’s Cheshire cheese, smokey BBQ and jalapeños and nacho cheese. Secondly two Jacobs Crunchlets; rich and tangy cheddar, cheddar and caramelised onion. Thirdly, Jacobs baked Crinkly’s cheese and onion, grilled cheddar and sizzling steak sticks and twiglets.

Are They Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free and Dairy Free?

All the mini cheddar flavours ARE vegetarian. However, they all CONTAIN milk, wheat and barley with the nacho cheese and jalapeños also containing butter milk. Therefore, they are NOT dairy free, vegan or gluten free.

Both Crunchlet flavours ARE vegetarian. However, both contain milk and wheat with the tangy cheese variety also containing buttermilk. Consequently, these are NOT vegan, dairy free or gluten free.

The Jacobs Crinkly’s, Sticks and Twiglets ARE all vegetarian. Twiglets are also vegan and dairy free, however, they are NOT gluten free due to their barley and wholewheat content. Crinkly’s and Sticks are NOT dairy or gluten free as they contain wheat and milk, and Sticks also contain barley.
