Ready salted is the most iconic and first ever flavour of crisps created in the UK – true fact. It is also the most boring flavour ever, it is the vanilla ice cream of the crisp world… so many flavours to choose from so why are you picking ready salted! You might as well say I don’t like flavour so just give me a potato to chew on… Ok well maybe these crisps are not that bad, they can be pretty tasty, and if these are the only crisps that are available then you are not going to turn down a packet are you? Ready salted crisps are good for kids parties as everyone can eat these as there is no weird flavour that. some kids wont like, just open up a bag of Walkers and tip into a bowl and boom you have the makings of a great buffet table. Now then the colour of the packet for ready salted flavoured crisps has gone a bit crazy in recent years. We can all agree that the colour of the packet should be RED… yes red if the colour for plain crisps.  So why has Kettle made them white? What the hell are they thinking? Or have they got it perfectly right as the crisps are plain and boring and what is the most boring of all the colours… yes white! Some crisps also come in a blue bag which is just wrong.. So if you are a fan of plain or ready salted or lightly salted or sprinkled with salt crisps then we do have a decent range for you – Hula Hoops original are my personal favourite.
